A big ask

Ah. You know how I sometimes promote things beforehand, so you can watch them; and then other times I speak up when it’s too late?So this time I’m doing it too late. I was on Alexander Armstrong’s Big Ask tonight, on Dave. It’s a quiz show WITH A TWIST!!!!! Spoiler: the twist is that the guests set the questions. Well worth watching if you have the capability to revisit old Dave shows. Would’ve been much easier if I had piped up a day ago, though, eh?

Just watched it! One of the best yet! Ad Bad show or whatever it’s called was really good as well. All three of us are looking forwards to the rest of the series.

Quick question, the red t-shirt that you wore on both Big Ask and Mad Ad Show, is it from Threadless? Just curious

    I don’t have Dave, sadly.

I also got drawn into The Tube, even though I really didn’t want to.

I watched it :) Great question about Francis Bacon. Oh, and I liked the Measles thing (I’m pretty sure it’s Measles and not Measels but I’m not going to look it up.)

I happened upon it as Coppers were too depressing this week and Superscrimpers on +1 seems to have run out of useful tips. Using an old lemonade bottle to unblock the toilet is just bizarre. Plus I’ve never actually encountered a blocked toilet apart from in school toilets where kids put bricks down them.

I very much enjoyed it. I liked the fact about Rosetti and the poems as I watched the BBC programme about the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and I remember the poem bit. If I ever watch it again I shall be thinking of him digging her up. :-) I also liked the bit about the rugby team made from lots of teams.

Today is my last day of work with my maiden name. It feels weird and I forgot to order a new name badge. Shame on me.

I got sucked into that programme about the Tube (not the old programme from years ago, the one about the London Underground) and completely forgot you were on, despite having known about it from somewhere, did you tweet about it earlier today? Will definitely catch it on Dave online if I can.

Speak of tweets, can you let me know when your Hay dates are? I sent you a DM explaining that I am one of those annoying people who likes to plan months in advance when she’s doing what. Mainly due to inconsiderate people getting married and wanting flowers and not considering my Watson related activities diary. Sunday 3rd June would be good, if you could pencil that in, I will bring you your very belated birthday gift if you can fit in round my work schedule. You never know, it may be something other than a bunch of flowers :)
