    Hot Ribena is amazing, like getting a hug from the inside when you are feeling really rough. Another tip is Rochester Ginger with cold water when you have “just” got a cold.

    I agree with Nigel though, not flu. I had it as a kid and ended up having to have a month off school, 2 weeks for the flu itself and 3 weeks with post flu depression which followed.

    If it was man-flu you wouldn’t even have had the strength to type the blog! Lucozade, flowers and chocolate cures all ills ( old university mantra ).

    Oh dear, stay in bed and rest. No sneaking down to watch telly when everyone goes out and then running back upstairs to look half dead when you hear the key in the door :)

    Seriously, I’d blame Sarah. She spent far too long breathing over you before, during and after the Soho gig. Now you know why I wasn’t sat with her during the performance … x

    If it’s anything like the horrid thing I had last week, I’d recommend rest, vitamin C and anything that feels like it will make you better to get the benefit of the placebo effect. And then hope it doesn’t get anywhere near your stomach/digestive system, for I am still recovering.

    I have achey limbs too! But it’s from going out last night and doing the Cha Cha Slide, Saturday Night, the Macarena, the Time Warp and Thriller multiple times. As well as dancing to Blue Da Ba Di Da Ba Die, or whatever the name of it is! Feel better soon!!!

    Also, I watched The Mad Bad Ad Show about an hour ago! It was brilliant! :)

    Nasty flu-like virus. Bed rest and painkillers chap.
    I have aching limbs but for exercising reasons.
