2012 TOUR DATES – MOSTLY ON SALE NOW OR IF NOT BLOODY SOON

Here finally are confirmed tour dates for next autumn. We’ve gone for quite a lot of favourites from the 2010 tour, some new ones as always – not that there are many places left I’ve not played – as well as return visits to the two best audiences of this year (Shrewsbury and Winchester; Aberdeen, the other candidate, still being worked on) and also to the two fastest-selling venues of the year (Kendal and Bromsgrove) as a little thank-you. Please note that this is not quite the finished article yet. Most noticeably, there are no dates in London or Glasgow yet. Both of these will be rectified shortly.

Also, there are warmups in Norwich (January, but mostly sold out), Soho (Feb) and Bristol Tobacco Factory (Feb), but I might get you to google those for yourself as I’m typing against a time limit before the boy wakes up. Plus, I’m in Australia March and April, but again, let’s make that a separate blog. Here are the autumn dates. What a lovely last-minute Christmas present tickets might make for someone.

Can’t wait for this tour. You put on some of the best comedy shows I’ve ever seen.

It’s great you’re coming to Huddersfield! Saves having to trek to Leeds, Manchester or Sheffield for a change.

[...] Mark Watson is touring the U.K. (and bits of Australia) next year. I think you should go if can. [...]

I see you’ve gone for Felixstowe rather than Ipswich this time. That’ll be fine if the Spa Pavillion is still open by then. The local council are due to pull their funding in June, the last I heard.

Would be nice to see you at the tobacco factory in Feb, but then I’d also want to go to the colston hall gig as well. Going to both would feel a bit like stalking and I do have a wedding to pay for.

    Hmmm

Hooray for Canterbury! I will buy a ticket the minute the Gulbenkian has it on their website.

Warrington! Get in, I can walk to the gig this year. Perhaps have a drink after Mr Watson?

One day, you’ll tour Canada. Or at least come back to Just for Laughs. Maybe. Possibly.

I hope you have a good long break before this tour is in full swing. I’m exhausted just thinking about it.

I definitely didn’t do a little squeal when I spotted Cheltenham on the list.

    (I totally did.)

Phew! to the rectifying of the London and Glasgow dates-all being well, I should be in Glasgow for next autumn, so will get the chance to see you in a totally new town. I did wonder about London dates, but then figured I may have missed something, so didn’t want to ask when I first checked. Huzzah to 2012 touring!

    Mark,
Will you be playing any gigs in Newcastle or Sunderland in the next year? I was there last time you did the city hall Newcastle and had a great night.
    Cheers, Richard

    Dear Mark,

Will you be playing Liverpool this time around? (last time you played us we sold 52 tickets, although that was 2006 so doesn’t count!) Enjoyed the Liverpool Empire gig!
