Wild wild life

So this is the mad day. I’m about to record the Channel 4 show and then leg it to Broadcasting House, and by leg it I mean go on a bike with a man driving. (It’s a motorbike: quicker.) Tonight’s R4 show is about Passion. Basden wrote a wicked song about group sex but wasn’t allowed to do it. I’m going to finish the show by singing opera or by being subjected to yet another physical torment. Anyway, this will all become clear shortly. I do hope you listen in. The song ‘Wild Wild Life’, by Talking Heads (which gives this blog its title) will definitely perk you up if you’re in ‘one of those moods’. It’s wonderful.

    Great shows tonight, glad Mad Bad Ad didn’t go on for too long, I had to walk & tube it to the radio theatre afterwards, but totally worth it & was great to see the other Watsonians, even if it was very briefly. Kx

    Just watched you in the Beer and Pizza Club. I enjoyed it, your face when the holly oaks girl started talking about tea was soo funny, you looked completely bewildered, which is how I think everyone else was feeling too.

    Anyway am about to tune in to MWLATTN I am sure it will be great.
