Just blogging from the beautiful, but under-full Buxton Opera House. Apparently Friday’s entry (on the subject of my bloody glasses/jacket) has disappeared, in a manner not dissimilar to the items themselves (which I am trying to track down, but with fading hope). You’ll be glad to know that I have replaced the specs – with more specs, not with contacts or a little man to tell me what’s in front of me – and will be wearing them this week on 8 Out Of 10 Cats. I’m also on Never Mind The Buzzcocks tomorrow, a bit. I’d better go back to the Buxtonians. They’ll be wondering.

Also saw you at Buxton last night – being a bit older than the earlier postees, settled down to a glass of wine in front of the TV instead of logging on. Really enjoyed the show. Surprised it wasn’t bursting at the seams – there was quite a steady stream of cars travelling across from Macclesfield.
Just finished Eleven for the second time….quite different second time around, for obvious reasons – Very good – both times. So good, in fact that I bought 6 copies – and you thought the pseudo Dane was a bit scary.
Any chance of you coming back to Gawsworth Hall next summer?

As I mentioned on the lost blog, I forget my glasses at home all the time. At least I know where they are?
I most often lose things in my house. My blog post today is about it, actually, because my passport went missing.

I will watch both if I am at home, which, lets face it, I will be.
I have glasses now. I find the best way to not lose them is not wearing them. It’s working so far, but it has made me miss several buses.

Brilliant show at the Buxton Opera House last night Mark, I’ve never laughed so much for a long time. I loved the opening bit with the computer, you are the only comedian I know of who can have the audience laughing so much before you even open your mouth. I hope you enjoyed the shortbread, can’t wait until you come to our area again. So sorry it wasn’t a packed house though! Good luck with the rest of your tour!

Damn, that sounds like a job I could have done. Except I’m not a little man.

Im meant to wear my glasses 24/7.Any of you that have met me will have never seen me with them on. Ive spent the last week at work without them (pure vanity) and this led to terrible headaches so they are already in my bag for tomorrow.
In other eye related news, Im getting botox in my eye next month. Exciting!

Tonight was a great gig, both of my friends really enjoyed it – and it was Amy’s first time at a comedy gig. Thanks for the picture & signing our stuff

I have 2 pairs of glasses and usually at least 20 pairs of contact lenses at my disposal, yet I still manage to go to work without any of them at least twice a month, only realising half way there that I can’t read the roadsigns :s

Maybe you should consider putting your glasses on a chain? Either that or just worsening your eyesight so that you wear them all the time and can’t therefore take them off and mislay them. (as I often do, oh the curse of the only partially crap eyesight!)
