The collate news

My plan is to collate the results of the Predicting The Future game and establish a proper scoreboard. If I had done that with my Saturday though, you’d be worried for me. It will come soon. Bristol City won today- first time in two months. Those who’ve been faithfully crossing fingers can briefly relax them before they contract muscular problems. I’m in Buxton tomorrow. I might see you there but I doubt it…

I’d forgotten all about predicting the future, I bet thats not what I predicted.

I’ll be at the Buxton gig tonight! Looking forward to it!

Had my parents decided to buy the first house they looked at, I could well be going to the Buxton gig. As it happens, they did not, and I’m quite relieved as Buxton kids have to get the train to school every day. Very expensive.
It’s probably too late now, but you should visit Poole’s Cavern. It’s tons of fun. They have the fastest growing stalagmites in Britain (possibly the world).

There was a blog…how strange…I commented so I’m sure I’m not going mad…I could be wrong but wasn’t it called Lost as well…spooky!!Jx ps Suzanne I’ll definitely still be 100% finger crossing as and when needed…no rest for us!!

What happened to Friday? I spent yesterday being all like OMGBLOGLESSDAY and looking on Twitter to find out what was going on. Which was nothing. I was so confused. I realise I could have just asked you on there, but my mum’s stalking comment got to me, I’m afraid.
I think next time I have a day off I need to do something with it.
Also, is anyone else doing NaNoWriMo?

(think of that as a dramatic pause and not an accidental submission)
I’ve just started uni and have been doing many exciting things and stuff. For example, today I woke up at 2 and within 2 hours was in A&E. In total today contained 7 hours at hospital waiting with my housemate who has swallowed a penny and had it lodged in his gullet. It’s not usually like that, true, but there is always drinking, talking, card-playing, adventuring, eating, washing up or sometimes even work to be done when one is living the student life.
But here I am, using the extra hour of my day given to me by the Daylight Saving Gods to watch up and apologise, so I must love you all really (I really do).
In conclusion,
Sorry, I’m a student, I’ll be better from now on.
But I’m still failing to win the Eurovision Song Contest.
(Does somebody else feel like taking up the shambles of a baton? We don’t have much (read “anything”) but they’ll do a better job than I have.)
Yours Sincerely,
Magnificent Josh “Trograde” Rodell

Mark et al.
I cannot apologise enough. I have let my blog attendance slip dramatically, as in, I just caught up from the 20th of October. I’m all up to date now, but it was fairly bad for a bit, there. What’s worse is that I come back to find that you, Mark, have been concerned that the blog is under-staffed.
I am disgusted at myself.
However, I have a semi-legitimate excuse

I’m another faithful blog reader who has lost yesterday’s blog … I thought it might just be me but perhaps it’s somehow connected with the disappearance of British Summer Time and a punishment for messing around with time???
As soon as the final whistle had been blown at Barnsley, I rushed to update the blog with the fantastic news Bristol City’s exciting win and the success of the finger crossing brigade, only to find a space – an Error 404 kinda space – where I’d last seen Friday’s blog!!!
I actually went to a party this evening and so was unable to check every few seconds so I could proclaim the result to everyone. When I got back I found that Mark had already told you … But who cares who or when good news is delivered, eh???
Having taken the lead, City held out for a full hour before Barnsley scored the equaliser. However, Nicky Maynard was the hero with his winner in the second minute of injury time!!!
Excellent result, obviously a combination of the new manager and concerted finger crossing … good work by everyone!!!
Job done, eh, Jen??? But we can’t rest on our laurels … onwards and upwards … stand by for the next footie alert ahead of Tuesday evening’s away game at West Ham.
It seems that Buxton will be full of Watson blog watchers tomorrow … must say I’m really jealous, sure you’ll all have a great time!!!

Hello there Mark, I am still reading but not really commenting so much because I have been busy with starting uni. However..now I have essays to do which are terribly boring and any distraction from that is welcome. So if you would like anyone to collate them for you, I am well and truly willing to.
Also, sorry to hear about the coat. I do still check ebay for samsonite suitcases from time to time (another good distraction), nothing yet but hey, hope is not completely gone on that front.

Yay for Bristol City and yay for Derbyshire, one of my favourite counties, lovely walking country.
On yesterday’s subject of losing things, I have for the third day running completely lost my mojo, (I’m not exactly sure what a mojo is but I have heard others speak of it as a good and happy thing which is the opposite of how I feel at the moment).. Lord knows I need to find it soon it’s starting to really annoy me!
I also seem to have lost yesterday’s Watson blog post, I am getting the lovely Error 404 instead. Still it doesn’t do to dwell on the past so I will concentrate on the present and future. See you on Wednesday, if your loveliness doesn’t help me locate said mojo, nothing will … x
