Llan-dud my show

(That title only works if you pronounce the ‘dud’ as ‘did’, as in ‘Llandudno’. Which is where I was tonight. So it’s fine. Anyway I’ve been out for dinner after the show and suddenly it’s 11.45 and I’m
doing this on my phone while walking back along a gusty seafront. In the end I wasn’t allowed to do a blog about the launch event, because the details are still not official. Anyway- we’ll do it soon. This is going to be the first blog of mine written entirely in brackets. Thank you.)
(PS misspelt Bordon last night. Sorry, Bordon.)

(so glad i’m not the only one into brackets (i once wrote a whole paragraph in brackets in a letter to a friend (yes, i still hand-write letters!))
lisan – i went on an open day to essex and really liked the uni (this was years back, mind), but know some people who went to aber and totally loved it, and apparently it is very beautiful also (erasmus years totally rock by the way – i went on one to belgium, and had an awesome time of it)
need to sleep now, so can’t blogwatch for tonight. sure it’ll be there when i wake up though. night all xxx)

(I think I probably take gusty sea fronts for granted, living in Devon. Lisan66, I think Aberystwyth is supposed to be nice. I’ve never actually been, but I know a guy there who is a photographer and the photos he takes make it look really pretty. Other than that there are a few crazy old guys wielding guitars. This is otherwise known as useless information.)

(I didn’t know that you were meant to say it like that, although I don’t think I have ever said it out loud anyway. Now I can though, without looking like a fool.)

(I like this blog, partly because it was the first blogwatch I’ve been home for in quite some time, and partly because I really like brackets. I often feel like I over-use brackets, but now since everyone’s doing it, I’m going to take the liberty as well (I think I’ll even try some nested brackets! How daring.))
(ps it was Thanksgiving in Canada today; mine was fairly rubbish, especially compared to how they normally go, but I figured I’d still send out a Happy Thanksgiving to all the other Canonians out there.)

(All I can think of now is that poem with the line (i’m stuck in parenthesis) what I would give to go to a gusty seafront right now.
As for Lisa, I’m making an application to Brunel, come with me!)

(Lovely. Just lovely. I haven’t been on a gusty seafront in years.)

(Following the brackets theme; I’ve decided to do an erasmus next year (coming from Dublin to the UK). My options are the University of Essex, Brunel University or University of Aberystwyth (I really hope I spelled that right!!). I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about any of those universities and the locations/nightlife/part-time jobs/shopping/etc/etc.)
