‘I sometimes wish I could see Mark Watson just for a couple of minutes before I nod off at night.’
‘Well, why don’t you tune in to BBC’s This Week later on? He’s a guest. He’s that one they bring out at the end when there’s a less serious topic and they don’t need a political figure to lead it.’
‘Gosh. But hasn’t he already had something of a long day, rising at 6.30 with his small son and working on that Channel 4 ad show all afternoon?’
‘I don’t know. Has he? How do you know so much about Watson?’
‘Because I am him, and so are you.’
‘Why’d he decide to write the blog as an imaginary conversation between two well-wishers?’
‘Dunno. Something a bit different, I guess, isn’t it?’

This blog makes me worry that you’re secretly schizophrenic…

I will make a point to iplayer it even if I skip to the bit you are in.
I’ve been catching up. With the blog, TV, radio etc. It’s not so much that I’ve been so busy I haven’t had the chance, more that other people in my house are on the computer or watching TV. That and I’ve been making my friend a going away present that has been taking up my evenings. But she’s gone now.
I’ve missed this blog. ^_^

I totally agree Suzanne – but you are my football buddy so I’ll agree with anything you say!Jx

Hi. Long-term lurker, just sneaking out of the shadows… stumbled across a bizarre ad this morning on gumtree (don’t ask how I found it, it’s a google adventure and a half!) titled: “FOUND MARK WATSON DRIVING LICENCE AND CREDIT CARD” … any chance it’s yours? I mean, it’s quite an uncommon name, how many Mark Watson’s could there be in the world? ‘Tis in That London, by the way and was posted almost 2 weeks ago.
To be on-topic, great job on This Week! I have to admire your persistence, I’d have given up trying to make my voice heard!

I will watch it if it’s on the internet. I hope you enjoyed yourself, even though you were really tired. x

@lisan66
Was This Week on today? I didn’t watch it, and BBC don’t let Irish people see their tv online
Yeah I have that same problem over here across the pond.

Great to see you on This Week … not easy to get a word in with Neil, Prescott and Portillo in attendance!!! You looked more relaxed this time and were very funny … don’t you agree, Jen??? Although he forgot to mention our efforts for Bristol City … probably edited out …
Good tour plug … shame Eleven didn’t get a mention or your radio gigs … ah well, it can sometimes be a cruel, cruel world …

I love This Week. I have set Sky to tape it as I may have nodded off by then. Please give my love to Andrew Neil, I love him muchly. Not as much as I love this blog though, I enjoyed the imaginary conversation.
