Launchtime
In yesterday’s blog I hastily referred to a DVD ‘launch event’ without supplying much information or even checking what the hell I was talking about. I have now taken the trouble to verify facts about my own career, which you might think would be a fairly sensible move to start with. So, just to clarify. It looks like this event will be on November 17th, at the Apple store on Regent Street in London. In the early evening. And it will take the form of a showing of clips from the DVD, with me answering questions read out by a celebrity host, but posed by you on the blog. But – here’s the thing – it will be an ‘invited audience’. And the way you get invited will be to go to some sort of Apple website and sign up for it. And it’ll be a first-come-first-served thing. So, in short, you should keep a close eye out until I explain how exactly you go about applying for tickets. That is, if you’re available. And want to come. I’m not assuming anything. Just trying to do right by you all.
I should know tomorrow exactly how you get tickets and I will splash it all over this blog, and – as with various other offers – you will find out before all the members of the public who inexplicably decide not to read this every day.

I work just down the road from the Apple Store so I can come with absolutely minimum effort or forethought. Please do let me know how to apply by personally calling or emailing me specifically, sending me the tickets or ideally, picking me up in a limo on the night. As you can probably tell, I am unlikely to actually keep an eye on anything myself.

17th..? :0( i’ll be in nigeria then! hope it’s super fun though. even if it is in an apple store (i’ve found they can be quite a hard space for a gig – very big and full of shopping people – thuogh i guess if this is an invited audience only, that will make it heaps better.
