Warm

Again nothing to report today except that, as Comments reveal, Bristol City were mauled 5-0 yesterday and now stand, or rather grovel, bottom of the league. Last year a similar thing happened and we rescued them with Watsonian finger-crossing. This season: I don’t know, maybe something drastic needs to happen. Also- those questions for the DVD – I’m recording the interview tomorrow so this is your last chance. Please be assured that while not blogging very comprehensively, I am using the time to make the DVD really good. That is my sales strategy. PS lovely and warm isn’t it!

It was my team who delivered the brutal blow. I can’t accurately say I’m sorry, because I was quite joyous at the time. But you know, it’s nothing personal.

Hope you get the same new-manager-bounce we have dude. And yes, ruddy warm. I’m not into it, really. I don’t want sunny Autumnwatch….

    FOOTBALL ANNOUNCEMENT

Obviously, as previously noted, Bristol City FC have made a poor start to the season which sees the club bottom of the Championship table.

Today, this has resulted in the sacking of Manager, Keith Millen … a very sad day for him as he ends his time at Ashton Gate.

For many years, he was a valued player for the club before entering into the coaching and management side of the game.

Naturally the club are keen to appoint a replacement as soon as possible to ensure performances and results take them back to winning ways and a climb up the table.

So, Jen and all fellow finger crossers, perhaps it hasn’t been all our fault after all!!! Onwards and upwards!!!

I’ve been holed up in my room with a migraine. It felt like a near death experience.

It has been lovely in the outside world, yes. I’ve been holed up in my room this weekend with a nasty bout of the Flu.

Been very hot – too hot – until today, then it’s been quite a bit cooler, say 18 degrees. And it’s rained this evening. The dog’s happier too, we’ve been walking him in the evenings because he found it just too hot during the day!
    Can’t wait for the dvd!

Lovely and not warm. Lovely in a ‘curl up by the fire’ and ‘bake things’ and ‘eat soup’ kind of way. We are getting sudden onset late fall weather, including a snow/rain mix weather forecast.

I really must invest in a better waterproof jacket.

It’s not lovely and warm here. It was lovely Monday-Thursday, and then it rained so much on Friday and yesterday that there was flooding in some places. Apparently, the rain came from the Atlantic, so I’m going to guess that Britain is getting whatever’s left in the clouds next. It was really warm on Wednesday though. I spent the entire day lying in a field instead of going to lectures. (I think I’m conforming to the Irish stereotype of talking about the weather).
I have no idea about anything to do with football, except maybe what colour some teams wear. But I guess I can cross fingers :)
And I can’t think of a question to ask, but I did see some really good ones in the comments.

*And Ireland won another rugby match this morning. Again, I didn’t watch it, this time because I was at a 21st last night. But still, we won*
