Lawks, I’ve not blogged despite – or maybe because of – the number of interesting talking points arising from recent discussions. And I have to leave for Ireland after sleeping for about 23 minutes so I’ll resume blogging tomorrow. Andrew, we have one or two things to talk about. By the way, ticket sales have gone well since I asked you to Influence the Irish. It’s one of the more successful instances of the British attempting to do that. Dublin, I will see you tomorrow morning. (Actual audience, you don’t have to be there till night. I was talking to the city.)

Ooh dear, it sounds like we might be breaking up. Never having broken up with anyone before (single till I was 26, then married my first girlfriend) you’ll have to take the lead.

Finger crossing took a day off!!!
Bristol City lost to Brighton when Barnes scored the only goal in the 80th minute, leaving City 21st in the league table.
I’m listening to the Andy Murray match, having watched England win their opening game at the rugby World Cup. The Italian Grand Prix in Monza looks exciting on Sunday …
Jen, we must work on more rituals to get City back to winning ways! Best to work out something that is easily achieveable. Like spotting 777 reg cars on the day of the game.
This one was devised by my mother who just happened to know where to see one on the bus route to the ground – she wasn’t stupid!!! Anyone like to guess the reg on my car??? Very clever … you must be psychic!!!

You pickef a good time to come to Dublin. Right in between the tail ends of two hurricanes. Anyway, I’ll be there tomorrow night. I saw an ad for it in the paper yesterday. I’m assumimg they were advertising since before yesterday but I don’t normally buy the paper. I’m half asleep and think I might be rambling, so I’m gonna leave it at that, but good luck tomorrow night
