I captained the Comedians team against the Critics today in a football match for Amnesty. We lost 7-3. But the score is
harsh. Full report tomorrow. Again just beat deadline. Phew.

Had a lovely time watching the match yesterday, you made a very good captain. A lot more head-butting the ball than I’m used to seeing, although thinking about it I have actually only watched two soccer matches before that I can remember.

looking forward to report, but with this up, feel i can turn in now. (i’m spending a hell of a lot of time online this month – listening to lots of talks and reading lots of news – hence the rather obsessive blog-watching)
