Hat trick

On my way to do Horne’s late show. I’m walking across a sodden Meadows. It has rained big-time two out
of three days so far. As we all know, Edinburgh weather can really get on a roll like that. Anyway- a nice night now and I’m looking forward to one of my few gigs in the next couple of weeks. I’ve little else to say- it’s been a very long day- but I thought I ought to blog now because we’re all a little shaky after that thing that happened the other night. Ok. Three in a row. We’re back in
the game. We must nearly have broken the previous record, stats fans.

So last year’s fringe pretty much spoiled me in terms of weather, eh? Ah well, I’ll just have to enjoy the sunshine in London for the next week and a half. So far it’s looking pretty good. =)

Think how shaky we’ll be when you actually do get to within a few days of the existing record! That or we will all have forgotten about the blogless day by then.

Sarah and myself have just done the same journey, tramping across the grass.

You were ace at the show today.

I am planning to make the trip to Edinburgh next year. Can’t wait, but will have to. Have a good fringe. Almost finished Eleven.

Man, I miss Edinburgh. I spent two months living on Warrender Park Terrace in 1999 and crossed the Meadows to go to class every day. It was wonderful. And it wasn’t very rainy that summer at all. (Of course, when I was there in 2008, salmon could have spawned in the streets…)

Anyway, I’m feeling all nostalgic and broke and envious. I hope all the Watsonians who made it to the Festival are having a blast.
