Mrs Murray

Today I watched my wife do a show, then another show, then one more show after that. Tomorrow I’m doing the same. It’s a bit
odd being here and not performing until so late in the festival.
I’m basically a cheerleader. The shows were all very successful though so at least I’m a cheerleader for a good team. You’d think it would be relaxing not having to perform but actually the out-of-controlness is scarier than being on stage itself. Which is why Andy Murray’s mum always seems tenser than him. I am essentially Andy
Murray’s mum.

Congrats on being Andy Murray’s mum!
I’m fairly sure I missed the point of this blog.
    OH WELL.

I hope you don’t look as angry as her, I tend to think it might be more encouraging to smile.

I have used the phrase “a bit like” more than is necessary. That is more than “a bit like” me.

    Hello
I am not completely familiar with the rules (I assume there are some, but life is too short to scroll back to where they might be) .. but is there no sort of “auto-blog” mechanism you could use if, like the other day, life gets in the way?

A bit like my bank automatically pays the minimum amount to my credit card, to avoid charges, should I forget. I bet there’s a 23:58 “emergency post” gizmo. A bit like you can set Tweetdeck to fire up in one’s absence with hourly gibberish….

    Anyway. Enjoy Edinburgh. Steve.

I’m very much looking forward to both Seminar and The Baby Diary. Glad to hear they’re going well!

Have you gotten much writing done yet? (Don’t want to seem like I’m putting any pressure on you, I was just wondering.)

Now you see why Sarah and I always look quite so hassled. ;)

Baby Diary is on my ever expanding festival schedule – glad alls going well!Jx ps I can totally relate to the nerves from a distance thing – when my classes are sitting their exams I’m a wreck – more so when I was doing mine!!
