Half-time correction fun

Checking in from half-time of my show in Cardiff. So far, not bad I reckon. The show is gradually evolving from what some of you saw last year, to something new and hopefully interesting. At the moment it’s got a foot in both camps. The aim in Edinburgh will be to do an almost completely new hour – that is, new since I last toured. These Edinburgh shows go on sale TOMORROW. ToACTUALMORROW. You can get them on www.edfringe.com. Also, I haven’t forgotten that I asked for volunteers to potentially help with one or two aspects of the show. If you’re one of the people who expressed a casual interest in this, you’ll notice on the Fringe website there’s an email address in the blurb for my show. Email that and I will log your details and contact you rather soon.

ToBLOODYMORROW! I would get them sooner rather than later.

And I’m going to finish the blog in the style everyone loves: with a correction. I said that the paperback launch, at Foyles on Monday, is at 7.30. It’s actually 6.30. Makes quite a big difference. I would definitely come at the time the venue believe to be the start time, rather than ever listening to a word I say. Hope to see you there. The paperback’s out today!!! *Lets off party popper* *Doesn’t really though, as dislikes party poppers and other things that make a bang* *Also, is probably a bit old to do this thing where you sketch out your actions between asterisks* *Bye*

Hmm, my original comment seems to have disappeared. Weird.

Well, to reiterate: Congratulations on the paperback’s release! And I look forward to seeing your show in Edinburgh; have sent off an email.

Also, forgot to say, I love the actions in asterisks. You’re never to old for that.

so when were those tickets on sale again?

i’m hopeful the foyles people will be kind and let me in late on monday – my train doesn’t get in to king’s cross til 6.45. i’m also hoping possibly once in the history of british trains, the train will arrive early… hmmm

and i’m older than you, and didn’t even start using actions in stars until a couple years back *shrugs*

Will see you on Monday at Foyles. Will also no doubt see you at the Fringe as I have been offered the sofa of an Edinburgh friend should I choose to attend. Possibly 19th, 21st, 22nd August? Have to fit it in between two weekends of wedding flowers. Next need to look at travel options, car, bus, train or plane? Need something cheap but non-knackering …

All this talk of Eleven made me go and read it again. Even more brilliant :) Am still recommending it to all my friends!

I reckon not bad too. Last night was awesome, thank you so much. It was nice to be doing something that made me not think about impending exam failure. My mum and my brother love you too. Not so much the lady who was on about bras and Australia though.

Also thanks for signing my book again. And being nice even though I am so horrendously awkward.

It’s definitely not old to asterisk things. We ‘young ones’ do it the whole time. I do anyway. *nods encouragingly*

*yey* for the paperback being out!
After bringing Mum along to your show on Tuesday she is now going to read your book. I just have to find which box it’s packed in, if I remember rightly it did get a special label of it’s own on the box! *that’s* how important it is!
