Delayed due to signal failure

Wrote a blog. Lost it. 300 words written on phone. Gone. Trying again. I hate Orange. I wish I had never joined Orange. My signal works about ten percent of the time. Much worse than when I was with o2. Why’s Orange meant to be good? Just good advertising? This is a replacement blog. Hope it survives.

Is Orange the one where if you call their complaints line all you get is options like “if you would like to listen to the calming sound of the ocean, press 1″? A friend showed me that when I was in the UK last December, and I found it rather amusing, but I would probably find it less amusing if I was actually one of their customers.

I would go on orange just for the cinema tickets. My phone still says one to one.

I think we can all agree that no matter what phone network you’re on, you’re gonna have your perks & weakness’ I’m on Orange myself & feel content with their service & the perks too. Kx

I’m with Tesco Mobile and never really had problems with them. One of my old phones was locked to Orange but I never had any real diffculties with that one either. Considering how much I use my phone it probably wouldn’t matter if it stopped picking up a signal.

Uh oh… 13 comments. I think I’ll sort that out.
Oh yeah, and while im here, O2 rocks! It was one of the only phone companies that didnt try to charge extra VAT before it changed, and it’s the only network that gets any signal in Orkney! (:

I was out last night so have only just seen the blog issues BUT I had a nightmare about the blog in a semi drunken sleep which involved a very panic-y MWBlogWatch on twitter and people calling me to see if I could contact emergancy bloggers or get to Mark to see what the problem was.

Except because in the dream I was drunk too and stuck at my friends house I couldn’t even answer my phone and I seemed to have my twitter feed coming up directly into my head so couldn’t reply or anything and just had to watch the car crash happen without being able to help. And I had a sense that it was all my fault for being inebriated.

Feel like I may have picked up on residual blogless fears in the atmosphere.

Orange were also pretty crap when I had to leave them. Of the mobile providers I’ve had to get PAC codes for, they were the only ones who had to send it to me in a letter (letter – remember those?) and it took a few days to arrive.

When I left T-Mobile they were able to text me the PAC code within a few minutes.

I think I’ve had accounts now with all the major mobile operators except Three, and Orange were possibly the worst of them all. And that, as they say, is my two pence.

Orange is awful. My phone drives me insane. Do you get that thing where you can only get signal on the floor? It’s so weird. Mine combined with t-mobile a while ago and it’s slightly better since then, but not by much.

I was having a conversation tonight with two orange network users, who also report rubbish signal coverage. But, only since they merged with t-mobile, apparently now the two networks now fight over which signal is going to win, often resulting in no network coverage at all. Helpful if they could just provide a network everyone could use.
I however am with o2, and have been for 12 years, they do good, so I won’t be changing! Maybe all this is why I haven’t seen and advert telling me how bright the future is lately!
This may make less sense than normal, I have been out and may have had a drink or two, so sorry if it’s a bit rubbish!!

Happy Birthday Virtual Lintu! I love the same birthday as someone else! (: x

Orange used to be the only network that could get signal in most of my town. It’s slightly better now, I’m on Tesco Mobile, but there’s still no Vodafone anywhere but the town centre. This is especially odd, seeing as there’s a Vodafone shop in town.

The other good thing about Orange is that if you’re a valued customer, you can get anything out of them by threatening to leave. Literally anything.

vodafone isn’t much better, I get reception on the tube but not in my own house.

I read this blog on my phone on Orange and the poor signal meant the new entry didn’t appear for 25 minutes after it was posted. I was beginning to think the blogless day may be upon us… in essence what I’m saying is boo to Orange for being, well a bit crap.

My phone has never posted to WordPress correctly and I am most definitely not on the same plan as you are.

I’m going to get started on the next Very Late Review in the next few days. I would encourage y’all to get commenting on the last one (from late April) ASAP if you want to participate!

Another day, another post. All’s cool. Bar losing the original blog. Cast your mind back to…possibly this time last year when it first happened. That wasn’t a good time for anyone. But you’ve approached it today with sense, forward planning and an ounce of optimism. I, for one, am proud.

Erm I used to work for Orange. In fact today I had lunch with my old work mate who has just got promoted to the “executive office” and I said to her “ooooh wouldnt it be good if Watson called you” and she was like “that would be the best thing ever”. She deals with complaints, I can put you in touch.

Bias aside, Im glad you’ve managed to get a blog up. Im far too drunk to cope with the blogless day.

by contrast orange is the only thing to get a signal in my house. Not that it’s any consolation

I changed from Vodafone to Orange a few months ago because I basically couldn’t get signal anywhere in Stirling (nowhere at all. Not even the city center, which is pants, at best). I get good signal in Stirling now. I think what I’m trying to say, basically, is that you probably wouldn’t have this complaint if you were in Stirling, but Stirling’s a bit shit anyway, and you should be glad you’re not there.
