Nigella?

Back from Hay. Microblog to continue unbroken record. Hay was brilliant. As ever, it rained as much as in the Bible, but it didn’t matter. It’s blissful. Thanks to everyone who showed up for one of my two events. The new material went ok, so did the wittering about my book. Guess which one of these I saw: David
Miliband, Nigella Lawson, Renee Zellweger. That should keep you busy. Proper blog tomorrow.

It’s gotta be Nigella. I’m sure she was there on Sunday same as you.

    David Miliband? Hmm…

I’m pretty sure it’s Milliband, because I know from twitter that certain other comedians at Hay saw him there. Unless thats just to throw us of.

Hay sounds awesome. I would rather be there than revising. If it is a yearly thing, which I’m guessing it is but I don’t know because before I read the previous blog I had never heard of it before, maybe I will go next year since I now have a year in which to do NOTHING (other than work in Sainsbury’s or whatever). Which means I want to do something. But I don’t know what. It’s very scary. So far the only plan my best friend and I have come up with is to become those creepy people who sit in the corner of pubs staring at everybody. (we are of the broke kind, so we are not one of the various people from school who won’t shut up about wherever in India they are going).

    And I think Nigella.

I know who it was but that’s because I pointed them out to you.

It’s got to be Renee. Otherwise, why are you thinking about Renee?
(I tried to make an ‘Allo ‘Allo joke here but I haven’t seen enough of it. And I’m not funny. Imagine that I did. Then laugh and think about how brilliant I am.)

10 pence on Zellweger! (See, it even sounds like a German name. The components here are so promising! I’m just going to slope away now. I love rain. I’m jealous of you being with books in the rain.)

Process of elimination: Event too cool for a Miliband, but I can say from experience that Americans don’t know where Hay is. So even allowing for Renee’s burning desire to attend, how could she find it? I’m going with Nigella.

I think it would be odd to name your blog post Nigella if you saw Miliband, so I’ll go with N-Dawg

Oooh maybe you’ve employed that tactic Derren Brown uses by pointing out one of the options and then people tend not to go for that option because they think it’s too obvious.

    I guess Nigella.
