And so the Melbourne Comedy Festival comes to a close. I did 22 shows, probably seventeen of them well up to scratch. I’m pretty pleased to be at the end, just
because by this stage of a show, you really have said everything so many times that it’s hard to believe that there are still people who find it interesting. That thing about the dog, for example. Blah blah blah.
I’m now champing at the bit to do a new show. But first I will do my darnedest to make the current funnies work in Sydney and New Zealand. I will fly to Sydney tomorrow. I will blog you from there. Bye. Happy Easter. Oh, I wore bunny ears earlier by the way. Kit found it very funny. Even though he’s so
small he doesn’t know for sure that a man can’t suddenly grow bunny ears.

I am sure you will be excellent in Sydney – we’re from Bishop’s Waltham visiting our daughter who’s working here. She and I wanted to go and see Much Ado at the Opera House but husband said ‘no’ – so you are the honourable compromise.
And we’re travelling with her friend Joe who can talk like Rod Gilbert.

I find a grown man in bunny ears highly amusing. In fact, I just reblogged a picture of Tim wearing them!
