Dude, where’s my car?

Great work on the stuff for Horne: like I said, I’ll explain soon. Particular kudos to Aislinn who has done two marvellous drawings this week. Look up her Comments and go to her page to sample her art.

I can’t really blog till tomorrow but happy St George’s Day. Happy supposed day of Shakespeare’s birth and death. Happy
my mum’s birthday.

Also, you know what a fan I am of overhearing mysterious soundbites. I’ve just walked past a woman who was saying ‘this is it. I’ve lost
my car. This time I have lost my car.’

Have you read ‘All Ears’ by Micheal Holden? It’s things he has overheard.

I love random soundbites. My favourite ever was, while I was stood at a bus stop, two guys around 18 walked past and one said to the other: “He told me he was a Muslim and I said ‘does that mean you get free food?’”

Happy birthday Mark’s Mum, Amy’s boyfriends dad and brother and my uncle! – maybe today would be the Watsonians day for relatives with most birthdays!
I have a feeling if I admitted to never having watched an episode of Doctor Who it wouldn’t go down well here! So I won’t.

I second Happy Doctor Who-returns day. So exciting. :-)

And happy birthday to my boyfriend’s dad and brother.

Too many anniversaries today clearly with loads more next week in my family.

Goes to look at contributions from yesterday…

Actually Mark, it’s not St George’s Day today. Because it clashes with a more important saint (y’know, Jesus, it’s kind of like a saints version of Top Trumps) it’s been put back by a few days. I’m not sure what the actual day is though, it’s not like anyone ever actually cares about St George’s Day! ;)

    How very nice! Thank-you.

    Also, Happy Doctor Who-returns Day!

And good luck with the whole impressing Alex Horne thing.

I dread the day I actually lose my car. Thankfully I have a good sense of direction so I usually have a good idea of where I left it, so that day ought to be a long way off.

I totally missed the plea for stuff to entertain Alex Horne but I look forward to reading the comments – Watsonians as a collective seem to be a creative bunch! (And while I’m at it, I actually managed to watch your One Night Stand which didn’t come across as at all awkward. Andi Osho was funnier than I seem to remember she is, and it was interesting to see what Alex Horne’s stand-up style is :) )
