Doona day

Today is my sole day off from the Melbourne festival- in theory all Mondays are days off, but I had to do TV on the other ones- so I am
claiming one of my very rare Duvet Days, where I basically don’t write a blog. Because I am in Australia it will be dubbed a Doona Day instead. I am going to spend my non-blogging time eating a big Greek meal and talking to my wife: the kind of activities favoured by those not tied
to a 10-year blog. Please use this time to catch up with old entries, or if you are already up to date, make up a gameshow or something like those guys did a few weeks ago. See you tomorrow. I’ll be doing Tuesday’s blog in the early hours of
your morning, so it’s not actually long to wait…

My Dad took the family out for Greek food on Saturday night – I ate so much baklava, I thought I was going to burst. Hope you had a great day off. x

Enjoy your large Greek meal. I love eating food in Melbourne all the restaurants seem to be so much better than in Sydney :P

    URRRGH

We tried to record the next episode of TTTTG this evening. It did not go well. Technical difficulties ruin everything. I hate computers.

    We’ve rescheduled.

Sorry, hi-jacking the blog comments to ask 2 things, 1. Is there anyone looking to live in Cardiff next year? I need someone to take up my place, £325 pcm, double room, shared kitchen and bathroom with quiet female student, smoking ok, pets not ok.
And 2. I’m hoping to move to London in september, which bit should I be looking to live in?
I can afford about £85p/w max

I hope you (and Joelle) enjoy your break! And thanks for reminding me about TTTTG, I am very much looking forward to the next episode.

Thank you for the catch-up day! I don’t know how to make your blog the homepage on this school computer so it always slips my mind. I really must ask my brother for the charger to my computer back so it can turn on.

I hope you have a lovely doona day. Also known as pajama day! I start holidays tomorrow afternoon so I win in terms of breaks.

p.s. I was the recipient of a very good turn today. A very kind man handed in my lost wallet to my local bank branch this morning. It was great to be able to thank him in person and reward him with an early easter egg. I am hoping he is the recipient of a good turn in due course.

Is a doona a duvet? I learnt something new today then.
