Day off
This is a day with no Melbourne shows, so I’ve made use of the free time by flying to Sydney and doing two shows to launch the Sydney Comedy Festival, even though I’m only halfway through the current festival. It’s been a feature of my recent life that what poses as a day off is simply a work day in different clothes. I can’t really complain though, as my workload is – I’ve admitted before – somewhat lighter than that of people who are putting out fires or helping the elderly. The shows tonight went well enough, especially the second one where I performed seven minutes of funnies to 1500 people. Thanks to Youtube, you will be able to see this set from now until about 2046 and give it a rating out of five. But if you’re reading this blog you’ve probably seen many of the jokes already. I’m not that inventive unfortunately.
So now I really do have to go to sleep. Hope you are all well.

I had a day off today, definitely a work day in different clothes, very well put! Being your own boss is lovely but I haven’t quite worked out how to switch off yet, I’ll get there! Sleep well my lovely, I agree with Misha and her “please don’t die” comment, I’m not sure I could bear life quiet as well without you in it

I’m good! College/uni/whatever it’s called where you are is almost over and we have Easter holidays next week. Everything is kinda really lazy and relaxed at the minute (until exams start in May). Plus it was sunny at the weekend, and I think all the vitamin D has made me happy

I’m very well thanks for asking.
I’ve accepted an offer on my house today so I can now put an offer in on the place I want to buy – so if everyone could collectively keep their fingers crossed that the whole buying and selling houses process goes smoothly that would be great
PS I think its high time you took a day off that was a ‘proper’ day off

Well, but bored out of my tiny mind.
Please don’t die of exhaustion.

You must be exhausted, I hope you get some sleep.
I got Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff out of the library a couple of says ago. I actually think it’s quite good. It’s just kind of morbid, ’cause every other page he talks about how “you should really do this because you never know when you might die” and I’m all Well You’d Know, Richard. It’s kind of off putting, but at the same time might be the reason I didn’t give up reading it when it told me that the solution to over thinking things is to stop thinking about them.
