New material fun
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s thrilling ‘live radio show’
bombshell comes the news that I’m going to be doing a show in Edinburgh, kind of. I don’t actually have a new show but I need to work on new material in front of a broadly sympathetic crowd. So I’m going to do work-in-progress gigs from August 19 to 27 in the Gilded Balloon. These shows will be shambolic, awkward affairs which you probably shouldn’t come to. Some of you will though, I bet.
Tickets will be quite limited because it’ll be quite a small room because I’d better not
too many people see what I’m like without thinking the show through.
They’ll be on sale through the Fringe brochure and www.edfringe.com when they get their act together.
That is all. This was another Blog Exclusive. Thank you.

That’s exciting. Very pleased to hear you’ll be in Edinburgh and I’m all for shambolic – always fun to see the new stuff take shape. (I’m still secretly pleased I was one of the people who saw the first beginnings of the current/latest show; that’s made watching it as it’s developed all the more fun.)

Oh, Misha, I came across this techie job about an hour ago, and thought of you. I don’t know whether it’s anything like what you’re after, but I just thought I’d let you know, just in case. It’s here: http://uk.music-jobs.com/current/arts-and-media-technician-for-secondary-school-job-24784355
(Sorry for hijacking, Mark, but that was a bit too long for Twitter and I haven’t Misha’s e-mail address.)

Argentinean reporting back to blog duties. Man I’ve missed all the fun! College is practically killing me. Well… not really. Still, I’m gonna try to read the blog every day again, and THRILLED to hear there will be another radio series

I hope to be there.
Had my interview for Edinburgh with The Pleasance today, but am also now signing on so it’s literally my sole hope of making it.
Anyway, don’t do yourself down, the first time I saw you was a new material show and I loved it.

After a few (*hic*) glasses of wine (it’s been MANY MONTHS since I last went out on a ‘school night’; or indeed any night), I (mis)read your Blog title as ‘New marital fun’! I had to re-read it…
All exciting news. : )
I think I’d better go to bed now.

I AM VERY EXCITED
I was planning on braving the Edinburgh festival for the first time this year… this has just given me a reason! And don’t worry if it’s shambolic. I’m planning on not being able to remember much.
Woohoo!

Awesome. I hope very much I get tickets. This whole EdFringe prospect scares me, but still yay.

Yay, but boo, I’m going up the week before.

Saw you on Adam’s show before, you were great! It was definitely one of the best shows they’ve done so far.
I’m sure the shows shan’t be too much of a shambles and anyone that is able to go will have a fantastic time, as will you!

If all goes well I will also most likely be one of those in attendance, good stuff!

Are you going to be at home at all this year?

I’ll be there too. Because that’s how I roll.

Ooh I love an exclusive!
I shall also be there, this will be my first Edinburgh so I’ll be more exciteable than usual.
