After live
Many many thanks to everyone who withstood the hanging-around-in-the-cold and being-up-late and in some cases coming-to-London-specially in order
to witness last night’s daring live raid on the airwaves. Basden, Key and
I enjoyed ourselves a lot, mostly thanks to the unusually excitable atmosphere you created. Thanks! I’m sorry I couldn’t come out and personally greet you all afterwards, but I had to talk to producers and ‘execs’, see my wife, and almost fall over from tiredness as the adrenalin wore off.
And now I’m flying to Australia. You heard. I’ll arrive Wednesday morning, UK time. Blogging, as always, should not be affected. I’ll be in touch when I’m safely there.
Thanks again, not just to the faithful attendees but everyone who listened. Or is planning to listen to it online at some point. Or overheard it by mistake. If they let us do some more, you’ll hear it here first.

The show was fantastic and I agree with Kathryn well worth making the trip to London for. Glad that all three of you enjoyed it too. It was also brilliant meeting many Watsonians

It was terrific! I particularly enjoyed hearing the pace get faster and faster (and somewhat manic and panic-y) as the show progressed. It was hysterical and charming.

really enjoyed the radio show. maybe add to the stress and do it in different cities for non-londoners who’d love to be in the audience but can’t get home at midnight.

I just listened to it after waking up this morning horrified that I forgot about it. Sorry. In my defense, yesterday was a horrible day for me.

Sadly my immune system had a major meltdown and I fell asleep at about 8.30pm, but I’m assuming I’ll be able to listen on some kind of player on the internet. Glad to hear it went so well and hope you have a lovely flight to Australia.

Thank you again for putting on such a wonderful show, I had a fabulous time last night and thought you were all wonderful. We didnt hang around that late afterwards, plus we’d had the bonus of speaking to you beforehand which was lovely.
