Saturday night’s all right (for not doing a gig)
I still need to organise the posting of these well-wishes and
cake pictures. I was planning to do it over this weekend.
Haven’t, though. So now I don’t have a plan for today’s blog. What can I say? I’ve finished my tour. I watched trashy Saturday night TV tonight. Apart from
that I’ve been writing this live radio show of mine, which takes place on the 28th. I’ll remind you once more to totally tune in if you can, because I’m
pretty jittery thinking about it. If you applied for tickets on this site, you’ll hear any day now.
RADIO FUN!!
Tomorrow I’m doing something REALLY trashy. Bet you can’t guess what it is. It’s not a strip club.
Soon I’ll try and do a blog on a Thought Provoking Subject, again. It’s been a
while since we had one of those. Thanks by the way to all the blog readers who said hello after the shows. I loved meeting you. It makes it real, somehow. Less like one crazy person is writing all these comments under different names,
to humour me.

Trashy event was X Factor! Love your comedy, expected better taste…
P.s. Not a stalker, I was working the till, just wasn’t quite sure it was you at the time!

Trashy? You’re not out picking up litter as some kind of community service are you?

Cymruangel, thanks! Please feel free to use the comment

Hi Mark, caught you on Mock the Week last night – love the joke about the phone! You’re doing something trashy? Please tell me you haven’t signed up for the next series of Dancing on Ice? Apologies to those who enjoy it but my daughter and I gave it a try one night because there was absolutely nothing else to watch and then wondered why we’d bothered. Even my usual quantity of pain medication wasn’t making it hazy enough. We came to the conclusion that the Victorians amused themselves far better.Surely you’re not appearing on the awful Daybreak? Failing that I’ll have to echo Misha and guess at Jeremy Kyle or Loose Women! Take care, Tracey x

I was totally going to (jokingly) out Misha as some sort of shadowy Puppetmaster, but I see she’s already done it herself!
I’m sad that I didn’t get around to making an actual cake myself; mostly because that would’ve been much more delicious than a picture, and I’m hungry.

I failed to send a picture of a cake despite the fact I have been doing load of baking  and also failed to send my thoughts on your blog
Epic Fail (as they say, apparently). Still think you’re fab, and very impressed you kept this up for the whole year without a blogless day. I’ve been blogging daily since Christmas and have now reached day 50 … it’s hard going sometimes but even though I haven’t got loads of people reading, I still feel compelled to keep it up. I hope to keep going for a whole year too. Thanks for inspiring me
Can’t wait till July for the DVD show! Yay!
x

I started reading the blog after I loved your show in Edinburgh this summer. I enjoyed the blog as much and read it every day up to the Friday night of the Frankie-Boyle-Incident. You said you were going away for the weekend.
Then the blog crashed and no more post would load on my iPod or computer. I kept checking every night for two weeks or so but soon gave up.
I checked tonight to find (happily) that the problem has been resolved. It’s nice to be a Watsonian again.

Sorry to break it to you Mark, but it’s all an elaborate scam by me. I post all the comments then pay people to pretend to be blog readers at your shows.

(I jest of course)
Trashy you say? I”m guessing Jeremy Kyle or maybe Loose Women.
Looking forward to the 28th too. Plans are being made.

MusicalLottie, I can still take your stuff if you want to send it to me (or use that comment if you like).
Mr Watson, I’m around and in contact with computers tomorrow if you want me to send you stuff. As you wish, fearless leader!

You’ve been on two episodes of Mock The Week on Dave tonight! Caught the end of the first one, and was miffed to have missed you, then you’re on the next one too!

Oh it was. Hello.
Well done for hitting the 1-year anniversary without TDBD (the dreaded blogless day)! I’ve been so busy this week that I unfortunately forgot to send Cymruangel any thoughts, and had no time (or cooker) to bake anything. Anyway, it’s nice to have a constant – your blog – that always brightens up my day; even on less happy topics the comments always make me smile. Really well done for finding interesting things to talk about for an entire year – without wanting to wish time away, roll on the next nine years!
