Tourlet

I thought I’d just quickly remind you that I am still just about on tour. Although I did most of it before Christmas, there are a handful of dates in February. They are in Plymouth, Torquay, Bournemouth, Reading, York, Chesterfield and Middlesbrough. If you live in one of these places, or near, or far but are crazy, then do come. I’m pleased to say these shows are selling well apart from Torquay.

There will be much more extensive gigging later in the year, based on your requests in many cases, but I wouldn’t want these shows to get forgotten about. I think they will be pretty good.

And a quick reminder to the Australians and Kiwis among us that I will be winging my way down to your hemisphere for most of March, April and May.

The dates for all these shows are either elsewhere on this site or pretty damn Googleable. All the Aussie shows are now on sale. And so are the UK ones obviously. And lastly don’t forget you can see me, Horne, the excellent Tim Vine and a whacking great bloody band at the Horne Section in London on the 31st.

There will be plenty more exciting blogs than this, but it’s nice for me now and again to actually refer to my career on this page. Thanking you.

I’m also experiencing a lack of access to the blogs … this is the last one I can see …

I’m relieved it’s not due to any dreaded “Blogless Days” BUT I miss you, your daily epistles AND the comments and news of the other Watsonians …

I feel as if a door has been slammed in my face … but it would seem there are others here with me!!!

Do hope all will be “normal” again very soon …

This is the newestt blog I am able to read, even when I click on archive it doesnt show any newer ones. Can anyone think of anything I can do to rectify this as it very annoying not being able to read the new blogs!!

@ Ivan – me also! The blogs don’t come to my inbox, but for me they’re not showing as updates on the main blog page either. I only realised that The Blogless Day had not yet arrived by going through the archive! (I was wanting a Watson fix and prepared to read an old’un… and then noticed that January had more recent blogs than I had read).

I’m really looking forward to seeing you in Torquay. That sucks that it isn’t selling too well. While I can by no means make a significant different I will mention it to a few people.

@Ivan Me too! I was wondering why no-one seemed to be getting unduly concerned. Guess because the blogs were there all along. Phew. Dodgy google-reader.

@Ivan – same has happened to me – Google Reader thinks the last blog was on 7th :-/ Maybe the rss feed is broken.

    Hi Mark,

Just wanted to say that I have purchased tickets for me and my gf to see The Horne Section on 31st! Saw it twice at Soho Theatre last November and it was excellent :) I highly recommend it to anyone^^

Unfortunately I don’t live near any of the areas for your tour, and i’m not crazy :( Til your next one!

I’m coming to your Reading show :)

I will also be bringing a substantial sized bag full of your books so you can scrawl in them for me….

Mark, I haven’t got your blog in my RSS reader in the last couple of days, leading to a heart attack when I returned from a friend’s only to discover a BLOGLESS DAY! Luckily, all was OK and it’s just my computer playing up. Any idea why your blogs have stopped arriving in my inbox?

And other blog-readers, has this been happening to you?
    xx

Finally! A chance to see the new show everyone’s been raving about :P

I wish I could see your gig in NZ – but that might be considered seriously crazy!

It’s one of my (I should really say ‘our’) favourite places as we honeymooned there. We loved it so much, we went back for our first anniversary (officially known as the ‘Vanniversary’ given our camper van transport).

I have heard, Mark, that you like a glass of wine or two. If you find yourself in Central Otago (near Lake Hayes, Queenstown), I recommend a visit to Amisfield to sample the wine and enjoy some seriously good eating:

    I hope you’re all having good weekends. : )

Well I have tickets to the Torquay show, and have for some time, they are currently on the calendar so I don’t loose them! I’m looking forward to it.
Still trying to figure out what I can bring for you to sign, I just don’t think the dog will fit in a bag any more.

I’d love to go back to Torquay – I love that part of the world – and see you. Unfortunately, I’m stuck in snowy Paisley! Tracey x

I love Alex. And you. And both Tims, and the band. SHAME I CANNOT COME. (No, I mean, genuinely upset. I have tickets for another show. Another brilliant show, mind you.)

Shall be at Reading, complete with Weird Thing For Signing.

I’m coming to see your show in Reading, yay! And I’m bringing my family. I’m very much looking forward to it and am planning to get there early as I’ve heard that something happens before you come on stage…

I’m far but crazy, but also sadly skint.

I wish I was going to australia.

Anyone else get a kick out of Horne making John Humphries giggle on Celebrity Mastermind the other day? I would consider that a serious achievement soceatly in the year.

I’m coming to Reading with my cousin who read Eleven in the summer and loved it so wants to see you live. We’re both really looking forward to it :-)

Just wanted to ask, even though you are planning your new tour based on requests, are you still including the places you went to on this tour? Or is it just the new places? Sorry if you’ve already mentioned this but I don’t know whether to assume you’ll be coming somewhere relatively near to me as usual or to suggest somewhere in case no one else has.
