Four minutes to go

Another desperate last ditch bit of blogging here. Quite a lot of people bought books after the show, which was a real case of mixed feelings for me: thank you, but please please go quickly.
Kit is out of hospital. The night there was actually not as bad as I feared. He he will hopefully be all right now.
I have to post this. I haven’t got the nerve.

Now I’ve got Mark Owen stuck in my head singing “4 minutes left to go, is this the end then?…”
Glad Kit is all better.

I reckon it’ll be a bit freaky for Kit when he’s about 12 and realises that dozens of strangers were worrying about him.
I’m so glad he’s on the mend and that your books are selling so well.

Great news about Kit.
Bought your book yesterday. Looking forward to reading it. Hope everything goes well for the rest of your time in Edinburgh.

For the next 10 years at least everytime The festival comes up, Kit will be reminded of this one! ‘do you remember 2010 you were only little but the worry you caused to vast numbers of people, the even set up a hashtag on something we used to call twitter’ to be fondly followed with that lovely face kids pull that says ‘yeah what ever dad/mum’
But glad he’s on the mend!
I missed the blog panic, I was sound asleep dreaming of beaches in hot places… Or something!

Good lad, Kit!

Good news about the tiny Watson! Hope he gets well soon!!
In other excellent news, I received confirmation from amazon yesterday and your new book (together with 2 of your previous ones) have been dispatched for me! I cannot wait to read you.

Wonderful news about Kit! I’ve decided that I can really reccomend staying out drinking with a dead phone battery as a way to avoid blog stress. Although maybe not for you Mark. Sorry.

Glad Kit is on the mend – no wonder parent’s go grey – I wonder if he will ever realise the torment he’s putting you both through. I think in return you ought to have the pleasure of being really embarrassing parents – as soon as he’s old enough to get embarrassed that is.
Anyway, alcohol induced waffling over – night all.

So glad to hear Kit is better. I can’t tell you how impressed I am at how you carry on when things aren’t going well – massively impressed (apparently I can as I just did)

Haha everyone seems to have posted comments very quickly! This blog is going to be the cause of a lot of high blood pressure issues, I see.
I got Eleven yesterday; it’s so pretty! I’m just going to read a chapter a day otherwise I won’t get anything done, but am very much liking it, as was never doubted by me. Glad Kit’s good, of course.

Also, er, yes. Complete failure to mention either of the important things there:
1. I’m bloody glad Kit is better. We can only imagine how stressful that is, let alone on top of a daily show AND the blogging.
2. It is also good that people are buying your book, despite the paranoia about not posting your blog on time. It’s a bloody good book.

You even had me going for a sec there dood ;o) …and already the comments are close to double-figures – gosh, we luv ya.
All good news too – Kit well, book selling well, all seems very well. In your face, superstition.

I’ve never been on blogwatch before. It was quite fun.
I posted this on Twitter: I got no worries, just wanted to join in with the hashtag. It’ll be up alright. #MWblogwatch
I mean, I know everyone was pretty certain a blog would be up as per usual, but it makes me feel a little bit psychic.

Glad Kit’s feeling better, that’s really great news. I’ve also made a start on Eleven, and I’m really enjoying it so far (that sounds like I expected it to be crap. That is far from the case. I’m going to go before I dig this hole any deeper).

If the world is ever going to blow up, I am definitely going to put your name forward to save it. It’d make life exciting, we’d be panicking right up till the last minute but you’d sort it in the end.
That ramble is me getting my slight panic out. Hurrah, perfect record. Good news on all fronts for you it seems. I am extremely pleased.
Yay.

Phew! I was getting worried that you might not make it this time. Well done. It gets very tense following the #MWblogwatch hashtag and continually refreshing the blog!
