Hospital fun

I am spending the night in hospital with Kit, once my show is done. I wrote a much longer blog about this, but my phone, being a pernicious little fucker once more, deleted it mid-post. So this will have to do. One day soon I will fail to post and not because of laziness, but technology fail, as the kids say.
Ah well. May blog again around 3am. And will be on Twitter if you’re into Twitter and insomniac. And if my bloody phone works. Bye.

I went to see your show on the thursday, and I thought it was brilliant. I couldn’t stop smiling afterwards. You did amazingly considering Kit was in hospital. Hope he gets better soon! xx

I don’t know what is wrong with Kit but my son had numerous chest infections during his first year and we had a number of nights in hospital with him. He’s now almost 14, 5 foot eight and has size 9 feet. We all saw your show on Wednesday – it was great. How your managing to carry on, I don’t know. Hope he’s well soon.

Have you thought about writing it in the “notes” section and then copying and pasting it to the blog uploader? Might reduce the chances of loss. Anyway, I hope Kit gets better soon and permanently.

I agree with Anji – it’s a shame our collective good wishes won’t actually help fight Kit’s infection
I will not be up at 3am – I’ve had insomnia for three nights in a row and am so shattered I will be asleep (sorry).
I hope things take a positive turn soon.

I wish that all our well wishes combined would make Kit better for you and Emily.
I admire how you keep trucking and manage to still seem sane!

i hope that kit gets better soon and that you and emily can get some much deserved rest. I will probably be awake at 3am, mainly because the coach i’m on coming back to birmingham from london has broken down in finchley with no sign of it being fixed or replaced any time soon. We’re already 40 mins behind schedule and who knows when i’ll be back to my bed. Take care, x
