Have a wonderful time! Disfrutar! (That’s spanish, not portuguese, but to be honest I don’t completely understand the difference). It’s pretty amazing all the good deeds you’ve set in progress now… I’m going to set to work on mine as soon as I finish this porrige!

I’m back from the picnic – I had a really lovely time, but I just don’t have the same staying power as some (it was already 6 hour long picnic by the time I left!)
Very much looking forward to seeing the blog all about it tomorrow.
Hope you have a lovely time in Portugal, Mark (a bit of relaxation and extra sleep will hopefully be important ingredients of the holiday!)
By the way, today’s mini-blog was just 53 words long – think that was the shortest so far (understandably).

I plan to make the world substantially better by not doing anything that would make it worse… A backwards way of moving forwards maybe, but you can’t fault it really – I’m so on course for a prize right now.

Change the world for the better? Damn, there goes my plan to become an evil super-villain (as opposed to, you know, a good super-villain).
Ah well, there are plenty of other opportunities to don a latex costume and rampage around the neighbourhood causing lots of collateral damage. I hear that the Batman job is going begging, for example.

I feel marginally better about being woken at 20 past 6 now.
We shall endeavour to write a good blog whilst you are away! I might ask someone else to do the paper writing so as I can read it back to type up. My handwritnig is icky.

Have fun in Portugal! I’m trying to workout just what my good thing will be at the moment. I’m hopeful I’ll be able to come up with something brilliant.
