Nothing

I haven’t done a blog today. I’ve just finished doing the football show. It was quite good. Thanks enormously to anyone reading who came to watch.

I am awfully tired. I’ve worked ever so hard this week. I was hoping to write a blog as part of the show tonight but it didn’t quite happen.

This is the slightest entry of the 90-ish so far; not even an entry at all. But it still counts. It will still be there. It still means I haven’t interrupted the sequence of daily blogs which will eventually add up to a decade. So I’m posting this. It’s not a blog. But it does exist.

Sorry.

Back to actual writing tomorrow.

Oooh – one more blog and then i’ll be exactly a year behind… for the space of about a day, then i’ll start zooming through as fast as possible again.

This is shameless, but I’ve done a little blog about this evening and the cause it was raising money for at annawaits.blogspot.com if you fancy a read. It was written on my phone and is littered with typos, including a reference to Mark’s “23″ hour shows. Oh dear.

I’m not sure this counts, Still, all in the name of charity.

Gutted I couldn’t make it last night, I seem to have missed a wicked night!

Hope it was successful and lots of money was raised. x

I’m really, really gutted I couldn’t come! Sounds like an amazing time was had by all. And I was too busy laying in bed to check the ebay bidding blog until it was all over, which I am genuinely massively kicking myself about. (Metaphorical kicking, not literal.)
Anyway, regardless of all that, well done on all the money you raised! And I’m definitely coming to see you on the next, soonest opportunity.

Had an awesome time last, most I’ve laughed in ages. Though i was gutted to have been outbid on the player sponsorship.

Excellent news on your show. I managed to ‘win’ the signed books and am very pleased as these shall be my revision reward breaks. Hope you have raised enough for the away game!

Hope you enjoyed your sleeps. :)

Hiiiiii Mark. We didn’t say hi in the end last night, so am doing it now. :] I will say hi in real life, maybe, one day. Had a really good time last night, though. I laugh-cried at the beginnig and my eyes were all puffy and red by the time I got to a mirror. Extremely attractive really. I guess it’s an added use of glasses; to hide behind. Not that they’re not that useful already…Stlil- really funny night. Hope you had fun doing it as well!

Jim Rosenthal was there? If anyone’s familiar with the excellent Half Man, Half Biscuit song “Bob Wilson, Anchorman” it may strike them as quite apt lyrically (“I’ve been to Kent, Gwent, and Senegal/I’ve even been to look for Jim Rosenthal”) which is eerie given Mark’s recent travel itinerary.

    Well done on the show!

    That’s dedication.

Ok so I didn’t read this yesterday, but it has made me smile today!
Well done on it all, and that goes for the nothing blog too!

Glad to hear it went well – from the previous comments it sounds like it went much better than ‘well’ – and I see the eBay auctions raised a fair amount of money. A job well done!

Thanks for the AWESOME evening Mark! I tried to speak to you during the interval but you were pretty tied up with former Lib Dem MPs and ITV Sports pundits. So I met your excellent brother instead, who is doing a fantastic job in Pohnpei. I tried to convince him to rekindle the wonderful “Extra Nonsense” blog but I’m not sure how successful I was.

How much was raised then? Enough?

    Thanks again.

Hope you had a brilliant evening:)
Unfortunately I was outbid in the last second on being named in your next book! Gutted!
I was also outbid on your three books and two radio scripts signed, especially gutted cos I wanted to add them to my lovely signed copy of “Eleven”.
Oh well, never mind, I hope you raised lots of lovely money.

I’d say its a blog. Hosting a night of football/comedy/fundraising stuff and having to deal with people surreptitiously filming you (even when you were writing this entry) definately counts as far as I’m concerned. Maybe a micro-blog for Micronesia

Brilliant show tonight, with the presence of Jim Rosenthal (?spelling?) causing me to become unaccountably over-excited. My friends all thought it was excellent too. Up Pohnpei!

Aw, Mark, that was brilliant! It was lovely to meet you. Really sorry we had to dash out early. But that was good. Really good. I laughed so hard I smudged up my glasses. And I’ve still got an adrenaline rush! Woo!

Must really get to bed now…

I’m glad the show went so well! Wish I could’ve been there :)

  20. Posted by Misha on May 23, 2010

Really enjoyed the show! Sorry again for dashing out. If you like you can borrow the blog I will inevitably write about the show?
Anyway, writing this on the train so i’ll keep it brief.

You’ve done far better than I have with my blog, and I only have to write in it 2-3 times a week! It is probably because I’m not writing to an audience, so I just use it as a kind of online to-do list. I will try to try harder though ^_^
