Release

The DVD is out. At last. That’s really all I can say on the matter. More as the week progresses, though. Thank you, if you’ve bought it or are contemplating it or haven’t wholly ruled it out.

  2. Misha says:

Emily and I most enjoyed it the other gay, despite the inclusion of my gimpy laugh face/nose ghost

  3. Misha says:

Day! Day! Freudian typos are go.

  4. Emily says:

I concur. We watched it yesterday and it was most excellent, though we spent a lot of time Watsonian spotting so will have to watch again. Extra were also grand.

  5. Zoe Fell says:

I’m watching it now, and giggling very loudly – much to the dismay of my housemates.

Here’s a question though; Where is the other half of the Tour Diary? The one on the DVD says “to be continued”, and I am both perplexed and intrigued.

  6. David (man proposing) says:

Decided to pop into to hmv before work (joy of flexi time) as although it would have been much easier to buy it at the several supermarkets I pass on the way to work, but I don’t buy DVDs from supermarkets. Anyway didn’t realise they didn’t open until 09:30 so had to wait around trying to not look like I was waiting for the shop to open.

It was a bit strange watching myself propose to Ellen, I stuttered more than I thought but Mark was excellent, which I guess is why he’s on the cover and I am just an extra :)

Thanks again Mark it really was a special moment for us.

  7. Megan says:

I have ordered it! My old laptop will be my British DVD-watching unit for the time being until I sort out something region-free for an actual television!

Also, Misha’s typo below/above (depending on which order the comments are in) is one of my favourites in a very long time. Hee!

  8. Melinda says:

was very excited when I received the Amazon e-mail notifying me that my item had finally shipped..but then became slightly dismayed when my estimated date of delivery inexplicably changed from 12/06 to 12/16 :(

  9. Lydia says:

Yay! I’ll get it when I get paid :)

If I promise to buy a DVD (perhaps for somebody’s birthday but shhhhh as she reads this blog) can I shamelessly plug my Sport Relief Page?

I’ll do it anyway and get retrospective permission.

I shall be sidestepping like footballers do for a mile. There will be a great risk of cramp and people will look at me funny.

And there’s my embarrassing surname for all to see, just to make it worse.

  11. Patrick says:

If it makes you feel better, Amy, my last name is Lickman.

I think I’m getting the DVD for Christmas- although I’m now dreading it, since Misha saw me on it and I look like an 80′s lesbian apparently. Oh joy.

  12. Alex says:

The comments on this are some of the best I can remember… Very impatient for my copy to ve delivered now.

  13. Suzanne aka Senior Watsonian says:

Abject apologies for not posting a finger crossing footie alert in time today :(

However, it seems Bristol City FC can manage without us by drawing 2 all away at Watford and climbing out of the relegation zone!!!

Hooray!!! Well done … onwards and upwards …

  14. Helen says:

How very exciting, it’s on my Christmas list.

(And also yay for it being in Time Out’s top ten.)

  15. Rachael says:

I’ve got mine and I happen to know that my brother is getting it for christmas too :)
