I am about to leave Australia and fly across the Tasman to New Zealand. My last show in Sydney went nicely and we sold the second highest number of books ever (the record is still held by Glasgow).
Perhaps surprisingly, the coverage of the royal wedding here in the southern Commonwealth is almost as relentless as it surely is at home, so I will be following events from London with what I suppose I would describe as moderate interest. I suppose I feel about it like some people feel about the Olympics: not really my thing, but important enough that it would be odd not to take notice of it.
